    Spoiler/Wing Options

I have a 2018 model year TT RS and frankly, I just don't care for my wing. I've tracked down some other options but, I feel like there's always those random ones I'm not aware of out there. The car will see some spirited back roads, perhaps some track work if I can ever get around to it and also, some action in Mexico. I have been eyeballing the Dark Matter version of the Audi Sport aero kit, which looks super nice but, I'm not crazy about the wing. I'm absolutely not against high, functional wings but that one just doesn't do it for me. The AP wing falls within the same category. I really like the ILR wing but that price is a bit obscene for what you get. The HG tacked on wing looks exactly like that, a tacked on wing. I know there's a slightly taller wing that's out there and that's ok but, what else is there?

OSIR offers a decent option if you don't like clones of the Audi Performance one from DM/AP

Looks are subjective, however, I love mine from AP. (P.S. Like you I disliked my '18 rear spoiler)

Yeah. I've looked at their stuff and I think the 2019+ style wing would be the only thing I'd consider from them but, the price point of that thing makes me lean towards just getting the ILR wing. It's so close in price but it looks a lot better.

Could always buy a stock 19+ wing from somebody looking to go aftermarket. I’m considering ordering the AP or Dark Matter spoiler myself and would possibly be willing to sell.

From a 18’ guy that swapped out the original wing for the facelift wing. It costs a lot, especially cause I couldn’t separate the base piece from the actual wing. Broke it and was another $500 + paint and any sort of paint protection you may have had ( film/ceramic coating etc ). There’s a thread here somewhere that breaks down the parts for the FL wing. OP didn’t have all the good listed, I added to it. I try to forget what I spent but north of $2500 for sure. And time considerations. Paint etc. If I had to do it over, buy somebody’s FL wing who’s swapping out for something else or go with on that is plug and play. That’s my humble advice. 51171CFA-51F7-455B-B76A-B62AC0F08651.jpg

I've actually read through your post on that swap and it deterred me from pursuing that route. Haha. Although, I will absolutely keep my eye out for anyone selling a 2019+ wing to see if I can reduce costs a bit on that. I'm not cheap, per se but, I don't want to waste money, either.

Not to highjack this thread, however, is that front splitter, ducts, and side skirts from AP or DM? I have the AP rear wing and would like the complete front end (splitter, blades & canards) however AP doesn't offer the canards yet for Pre FL models. They announced beta testing them months ago, however, no signs of them yet.

It’s all AP. And it’s all amazing. I talked to Thomas about the Canards he said 4 weeks out. I asked about if they come with the template like the originals and have not heard back. But I plan on getting them to complete the kit, sans the wing. Attachment 252650

Thanks for the reply. Yeah Thomas is really nice the few times I chatted with him. I’ll keep an eye out for the Canards later this season / winter.

Like to get these installed when upgrading the intercooler while the bumper is off.

This is the 2018 style wing in carbon fiber, right?

Yes it's same basic shape as the 2018, but bigger in every dimension and also carbon fiber it looks really good without being to "look at me". This is the only other photo I have of it on my phone at the moment.

There's a high spoiler that Vorsteiner makes for the BMW M3/4 that actually works incredibly well on the car. However it doesn't use the factory holes so you'd have to get that patched up.

Have seen it on a two different TT's on Instagram.
