2001 A4 1.8. My car is acting funning. Need help in fixing the problem. In the morning the car starts up and drives off fine. Then after the car has been at its operating temp for a few minutes, car starts to studder like its cutting in and out. Once I stop the car dies. When I start it again, car gets an EPC error and idles @ 1500.

    Here's the error codes
16706 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28): No Signal
    P0322 - 35-00 - -
    16395 - Bank 1: Camshaft A (Intake): Retard Setpoint not Reached (Over-Advanced)
    P0011 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17072 - ECM Power Relay Load Circuit: (J271): Open
    P0688 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16705 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28): Implausible Signal
    P0321 - 35-00 - -

    Please help.

    Thank you,
    Ron

    Fixed!!!

Well I've been doing a lot of research for the cam position sensor because the idiot from the Audi Diablo Concord CA dealer gave me the part number for the CPS when I ask for the Engine Speed Sensor. Plus when I research engine speed sensor, there was no indication a 2001 1.8t had one. Took about a week of research.

I was lucky today to talk to the right person at a VW dealer while looking for a gasket for the CPS. He said there is a engine speed sensor for your car and is common to go out. I told him cool, that's the part I was looking for in the first place.

So far so good. I've been driving the car on and off today and the car has not died nor the EPC light. T.G.!!!

The main reason for this post is mainly because there's a lot of people in all forums that always ask for help, but a lot of these people show no gratitude - you know who your are and you SUCK! I don't help much because I'm not on the forum a lot but the best way I think of contributing is at least post what did fix the problem.

Btw like usual found fix from audiworld, some replied to my post. Audizine is still my main Audi forum

    Later!
