Looking to sell my D2 since I plan on snagging a D4 soon. This car is Oxblood red over avus silver and was manual swapped @ 176k miles. The car isn’t the cleanest in the world and the price will reflect. I daily drive the car and have put over 15,000 miles on it this year alone. These are very reliable cars and do great as commuters. The s8 had the Tbelt and water pump as well as a new clutch at the time of the swap. It had a 6 spd 01E out of a B6 A4 that had very low miles. 2500 miles ago I did the front lower control arms and new pads and rotors in all four corners. It has St coilovers installed for the suspension, they ride okay. The car runs and drives great overall and is ready to do another 15k miles next year. Now for whats wrong with it/what it needs. I would recommend doing the valvecovers and cam caps as one of the caps on the rear of the engine seeps a small amount of oil. The rear subframe does have some rust that I will picture. Could be cleaned up but isnt anything very serious. The on-center steering is quite numb and there’s some play in the wheel before you actually get it to turn. I have new inner and outer tie rods, this may help. Can be included with the sale. One of the CV boots up front is torn also. And lastly the ABS and traction are not happy, sometimes the ESP freaks out and will cut off the power, I assume its a sensor issue or something is up with the angle since the car was lowered. I drive with esp off and its fine. The driver side of the car has some scratches, I have a driver rear door and fender to fix this that I can include. Driver seat has a small tear. With all things considered i want $8k for the car as is and $7500 without the Bixenon headlights. You can check out the current market, I am confident that this is a fair price all things considered.
