RS6 vs RS7 inside room?

Wife gave approval to get the new RS. I originally wanted a RS6 but they are hard to get and so overpriced right now so I am ok with the RS7, I think it looks better anyway.

How much more interior space is there in the RS6 compared to the RS7? I mean I know the rear has more room height wise but how much length wise? Also are the back seats the same room wise?

Sitting in the back of the RS7 feels a little more cramped because the windows are smaller. I think the room is similar.

The RS6 and RS7 are deceptively very close in terms of space, rear seats are identical and the RS6 only has 5 cubic feet more storage in the trunk. You can place a dog in the rear of an RS7, just remove the parcel tray. The RS6 still has an angle to its trunk hatch so its not that it has a massively greater volume of trunk space, just the odd awkward box might be easier to accommodate if you have passengers in the rear. With the back seats down both can accommodate some huge cargos.

Way more headroom in the back of the RS6 and an additional glass roof as well.

If you drive a lot of passengers and care about that, it's a huge difference.

My 2 cents is the RS6 looks better and is cheaper unless you pay over MSRP, which you should never even consider. Don't encourage the scalpers! :-)
