Random Coolant Loss after Supercharger belt exploded

I have a stg 2 dp and the shop that installed it put the wrong belt size on the supercharger. FF to my first drag runs after going stage 2 and the last run of the night my supercharger belt exploded and knocked my serpentine belt off and got wrapped around the crank pulley. Fished all the parts out and replaced belts and tensioners, but now I'm experiencing coolant loss (about half an inch a day). I can't see any hoses that got punctured and after inspection, there are drops of coolant on the serpentine belt at the bottom of the engine and it is pooling up around the crank pulley. Going to try to do a pressure test this week and see if I can hear any hissing or see any leaks. I don't think that it is the pcv or water pump due to the fact that the coolant loss only occurred after the belt exploded. No damage to radiator or intercooler. When I turned it off after a drive the other day, I could hear drops hissing. Anyone have any ideas before I take it to get diagnosed?

When all hell broke loose and the inner belt broke, your water pump stopped turning. Did you overheat? It only takes a minute or two. Temps climb fast. Rapid thermal changes could cause warping at mating surfaces where water flows. Maybe your water pump is leaking now. There is an internal seal and a "weep hole" on the hottom of the pump. Check to see if coolant is seeping out there. Or it might be a hard water line. Or a hose may have weakened and has a small leak.

Pressure testing the cooling system ought to tell you where the loss is.

Unrelated to the belt breaking is another possible explanation for coolant loss: supercharger intercooler cores. Were you logging or monitoring IATs? Several 1/4 mile runs with high starting IATs from idling in staging lanes followed by the run could have raised IATs enough to stress one or both cores and caused a leak. However, those leaks would be internal into the intake manifolds.

I'm guessing water pump, otherwise could have broken or cracked the coolant crossover tube.

Water pump.....could have easily trashed the bearing on the pump if ur belts got wrapped around it wrong. Press the pulley a little and see if u can see any play

Thanks sm for your recommendations. I didn't think it could be the water pump because there were no signs of failure before. I did a pressure test and thank god no pipes sprung a leak. The water pump is still functional and iats were hitting highs of 65. I believe it's coming from the pump and driving it back to the pits could've destroyed the oring. It's $50 for a new one and looks like an easy repair gonna try it tomorrow and see if it fixed it. Original owner had the tstat and pcv replaced so fingers crossed it's just the pump

Edit: the supercharger belt vaporized so no damage from that and the serp belt was still on everything just wrapped around the crank pulley. Never seen a belt get reduced to dust like that before especially a gates.

Update: pressure tested and the 145k water pump is still alive and functioning. It is coming from the passenger side of the water pump and is flowing at a fast rate when pressurized at 10psi. I have no clue what's here possibly the thermostat is leaking or just a massive pcv leak. Pictures included from where it is leaking from. Looks like it is leaking just above the silver gasket in the middle of the second picture. IMG_20210912_185434.jpgIMG_20210912_185420.jpg
