I'm curious what everyone has done on the factory timing system? I was bored tonight and was playing with the system.I have the MTM cantronic (so 722hp?) and 1/4 tank of gas, with launch control i did 3.8 sec 0-60...seems a little slow huh? considering i've read that these cars are supposed to do 3.2 stock? feedback anyone? times from other members?

80 degrees outside currently in Las Vegas at midnight....

Hmm there has to be error somewhere. I did this last month using factory system prior to my tune and got either 3.3 or 3.4 I forget exact value

    Maybe you were going uphill?

Seems like that factory timing unit is usually 0.15-0.25 slower when compared to a draggy or one of the other widely used brands. Could be that the OEM timer doesn’t include the rollout in its calculation so that would explain most of the difference.

Maybe that's why they pulled it.

I couldn't find the on board timing function on my RS6 thou. Checked the manual and it says "not available in all countries". I guess that's blocked in the US. How did you guys bring it up?

I ended up doing a 3.6 0-60 but still seems slow...but in all fairness i'm in Las Vegas and its been a little warm and i did some runs before measuring 0-60.

also curious that some people dont have this function activated. It does 0-60, 0-100(i think) 1/8 mile and 1/4mile times. its kinda fun to mess with. Maybe later delivery dates had its switched off. My car was delivered Dec 2020.

I started a thread on this feature not long ago. Early US cars had it. Stopped being turned on out of the box around late December 20 or January 21 built cars. The thread has instructions on how to enable it.
