    Question Does anyone thing the 2021 TT RS will go up in value?

    Wondering if anyone else thinks a 2021 Audi TT RS and older will actually increase in value since they will not be built anymore? Wonder how long most think it would take to do so...?

    I think the OP is referring to the US market only. Our 2022 order guides (Audi USA) list only TT and TTS and the Audi Sport press release for 2022 models in the US did not have the TTRS in its model lineup.

    With regards to the question of the TTRS value going up, hard to say. Maybe if someone has a very low mileage mint version via a site like Bring a Trailer you might see some pricing premiums, but day to day used values I don't think you will see any appreciation.

    Short term I dont think they will appreciate but I don't think they will drastically depreciate either. MK2 TTRS are still holding value pretty well. Long term I can definitely see a unique spec (exclusive) TTRS with low mileage going for over sticker maybe 10+ years from now.

    ok, understood, but being the US a very important market (maybe the most?) for the RS, I see stupid that Audi continues its production for 2022 and stops selling it there in your country...

    Agreed on mk2. Mk3 won’t hold any unusual value imo. Current situation is an anomaly for most cars because of the pandemics impact on the global supply chain and production levels. Hopefully folks are buying this car to drive it, not as an investment.

    I bought my vehicle a year ago and I can sell it today and make around 2K profit honestly.
    That is profit AFTER the sale price + taxes I have paid to purchase my vehicle last year.

    But I think that is also due to the pandemic and shortage of vechicle internal chip supply. Anyway my friend bought a 2019 718GTS with 1.5k miles on it last year, drove it normally and he sold it this year and made ~5K profit this year. That is also profit after sale price + taxes he had paid last year.

    I listed mine for sale a while ago, as I wanted to get a 718 GTS or GT4, and got tons of demand for it for the asking so I decided not to sell lol.

    I traded in my 2019 Audi RS3 and got MORE than I paid for it after 18 months,,,Got a good deal on my 2021 Audi TT RS,,,The Audi RS3 can't even be sold by the dealer because of the passenger Air Bag Issue but they still gave me a great trade in price (Basically drove it for free for 18 months}

    I'm pretty sure there is a 2022 model for the US. Hopefully can be ordered by the end of September.

    I broke down and bought one of the last new 2021's in the US. Didn't want to chance not being able to buy a new one.

    Did you buy the used one in Central Houston? I called to buy it last night and they said it was just sold.

    These cars will be just like the EVO and GTR.... at some point in the next few years they will be rediscovered and the 5 cylinder will be sought after for being special and having heritage. The price will start to climb.

    I have never lost money buying a high end race car. But afterwards I almost always regret selling them.
