Wheel Change mode for 2021 SQ7 with air suspension

I see that there is a "wheel change" soft switch in the MMI. What does it do?

I understand that you need to set this to on when you change a wheel, but what does it do? Does it discharge the air or increase the air in the suspension? And for what purpose?

So, I have two floor jacks that I use to rotate tires front and back. Typically, with all my other cars, I just jack up the front and back together on one side, then swap the wheels/tires. If I wanted to do that for the SQ7, do I need to set this "wheel change" mode first? (Thus I need to understand what this does.)

I looked it up in the manual, it didn't say much... It didn't even say that I needed to turn it off after changing a wheel.

Thank you! Then I think I can just do the 2 jack rotation without issues.

It has to be done or the second you start jacking the car in the air it will try to jack up the other side of the car. It will cause the compressor to continue to run, which as you can imagine isn't good.
Life has taught me never try to make something idiot proof, they'll simply come up with a better idiot.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
I have neither the time, nor the crayons to explain this to you properly.

That is a good point! Will do that whenever I start jacking the car up.
