How much max HP/TQ can the A3 2.0t engine/trans hold on stock internals?

    WHP/WTQ or BHP/BTQ....

I was curious because I wanted to go stage 3 (OEM IS38 or Hybrid IS38?) without building the engine. Any insight will be really appreciated. Thank you!

Plenty of Power. And most of the engine failures are simply due to Bad tunning or inadequate modifications to safely reach the desire target and keep reliability.

This guy on a stock internals engine and Apr clutch pack is capable of 750 hp on pump gas. He shared his knowledge.

Cool video, although it is a golf R. The beefed up internals of the S3/Golf R motors are much more forgiving to tuning than standard A3’s and GTI’s

Usually the rule of thumb on the 2.0TSI EA888 MQB engines is ~150bhp/cylinder. You don't need a built engine to go IS38 on your A3 2.0TSI MQB.
