    Wood Trunk Builds!

Just figured I’d post this here and see what everyone’s thoughts are!

I just built a wooden floor for the trunk of my car with some laminate I had laying around. I currently work for a flooring company so I guess I can get my hands on it pretty easily haha.

After a little while on the jig saw and some measuring I had what I wanted and went for it. Here is the (almost finished product)

I am awaiting some rubber trim to piece around the edge for a nicer, overall clean look.

I have also played around with the idea of an lvp and plywood combo for this kind of pattern.. never seen it in anyone’s build before!

If there is enough demand for these, and with all of my access to laminate and lvp, would anyone be interested in buying any of these?

If needed I can do a full write up of how I made it as well and my measurements!

I just recently did mine with some leftovers as well. Instead of a plywood base you may be able to do something similar to this and just run a few thin cross supports. Keeps it light and easy enough to pop right out when I don't want it.IMG_20210614_110559_103.jpgIMG_20210810_083002.jpg

Dang that looks clean! Exactly what I was thinking for mine but I was lazy and didn’t do cutouts for the metal hooks for the net! I rarely use it but it’s a clean look and keeps it from sliding around even just a little bit!
