After shopping around some local vinyl shops, I'm about ready to tackle the window trim myself. What are folks using these days? 3M? Shadowline? Any true kits out there? Search didn't turn much up :(

Shadowline. The vinyl is thin but easy to work with and looks very close to OEM trim once applied.

    Plasti dip will look horrible.

Use the black out tape from autozone. It is 5 bucks a roll and avery vinyl. It takes one roll per side. If you mess up a roll, you are only out $5. It is what I used on my A7.

Plastidip isn't really bad. Apply 4-5 coats to make it more durable.

to be honest i was not happy with vinyl its always looked a little off especially on the parts that wrap to the inside of the doors. I ended up purchasing all the oem black trim.

Yes I have all the part numbers see below. Got all but the top roof molding from Audi Brooklyn as the prices were the best. The top pieces I got new for E-bay in Europe. Top pieces are the most expensive.

    -Roof Molding 8K5853704HT94 $350.76
    -Roof Molding 8K5853703HT94 $350.76
    -Door 8K0853283NT94 $201.60
    -Door 8K0853284NT94 $201.60
    -Door 8K0853763MT94 $206.40
    -Door 8K0853764MT94 $206.40
    -Rear 8K5853345DT94 $193.20
    -Rear 8K5853346DT94 $166.57

Total = $1,877.29 shipped plus installation (all in I think I was a little over 2k well worth the oem look)
