    RS6 Lease Rates

If anyone has recently leased an RS6, can you share the current lease rates? What are residuals? MF?

Also, how many MSD's does Audi currently allow?

    TIA!

Check the Edmunds lease forums. Also leasehackr.com. Looks like MF is .00144 and residual is 55%. Can vary monthly and sometimes by location. Per their website up to 10 MSD.

I'm paying 2748.18/month for 48 months, but have Audi term protection and End-lease protection too. Most likely will buy it at the end of lease because of the mods I will be doing =)

I mean, that’s more than the MSRP of the car in four years and then another massive chunk to buy it.

For those pondering… just buy the thing

    $2748??? For a lease?

Idk about the residual on a 4yr lease, but a 3yr/30k mile lease on a $130k RS6 should cost roughly $2100-2200 depending on sales tax/fees. And that is with zero down at drive off. I hate to break it to you, but you dealership is making a killing on your lease.

This is where leasehackr comes in. Their calculator lets you plug in the variables and tell you what your payment should be.

Ridiculous. If money means nothing to you, then whatever, but man, at some point when do you say "Just cause I got don't mean I am going to be taken to the cleaners."?

It would've been much cheaper (probably by 70k) to finance the whole thing. Even at 3% (you should be able to get under 2 with good credit) 60 months is only $2569/mo. Are you sure you didn't actually buy it? I sure wouldn't ever go to that dealer!!!

54% for a 36mo/10k mile per year lease. Poster says he has a 48 month lease, so his residual is obviously lower.

Nuts, considering (I hope) values will hold much more than that. At least it looks promising right now. With that residual there's no way you wouldn't buy out at the end, so isn't leasing essentially just financing at a much higher interest rate? Unless there's a significant tax benefit or you're planning to get into multiple accidents to devalue the car, I don't see how leasing makes any sense at all with this car.

If I remember correctly, my 2021 RS6 lease was going to be $1800 a month, no money down for 36 months for a car with a $125K sticker price. I believe it was 10K miles a year but reducing it to 5K miles was a negligible change in the monthly pricing. Even that seemed high to me but since it would be a 70% business use car... $2750 a month is purchase price in almost anyone’s book. I am waiting for my 2022 allocation and lease pricing wouldn’t be accurate until delivery but if they told me $2750 X 48 mo I would literally shit in the dealership.
Do what you will with your money but that is the mentality that truly makes me question people’s logic, unless there is some sort of money laundering going on here which would’ve be a completely different discussion.

55% seems low for a residual. I was expecting something in the low 60%. That is where my 2019 E63 Wagon was, and clearly that was a gross underestimate given current values.

Current values of cars are blowing every residual written 2-3 years ago out of water. I walked away from a trackhawk lease with $14k after putting 54k miles on it in 30 months and paying sales tax to buy it out.

You would think they would start raising the residuals in order to try and get more inventory back (and discouraging people from buying out their leases).

Thats a double edged sword. When values settle, then you have the bank holding the bag on a $50k depreciation they sold at $40k.

Would definitely not lease but would look into something like PenFed's old Payment Saver loan. Basically a lease-like loan with a balloon at the end. Works extremely well right now with the crazy high residual values.

Payment would be much lower than any of the lease deals shown here.

The $20K markup needs to be absorbed in the 48 months, as that doesn't count toward residual. So that adds about $450 to the price. Than the extended warranty and lease protection is probably close to another $100 a month. So you are looking at about $550 a month for those add-ons. So you are probably looking at something under $2,200. Not sure if the rates were negotiated or not, but since there is a markup I am sure the dealer took him to the bank on the rates.

Reading this stuff makes my deal look better that ever.

Paid MSRP $124740 (black optic, exec package, driver assist, red brakes, sport exhaust, adv B&O). Got it in only 7 months, financed $50K at 1.99% for 60 months, paid the rest in cash. Payment is $878 and I pay $1k extra each month to close it out faster. I hear even the dealer up in Maine I used is now adding ADM.

Mine was pretty similar. $136K MSRP, selling price $139K. After taxes, wheel/tire, service plan, etc price was about 150k. Put Range Rover down (about 60k trade in value). Financed remainder through Audi at roughly 3% over 60 months (dealer probably had some markup in that rate, but rate seemed fair to me).

residual at 36/15 is 55%. Audicare bumps it by 1%. Rate is determined by credit. For many, a lease makes a lot of sense. For others, it doesn't.

I don’t really want to get rid of it. It’s by far my favorite car I’ve ever owned. There’s not much you can replace it with that’s for sure. Not being able to work after my shoulder surgery is going to be tough on me.
