    Nitto NT555 G2...?

It is finally time for me to get aftermarket wheels and new tires. One of my friends has suggested the Nitto NT555 G2's. I will be going with a 20x10 et33 on the S7 and running a 275/35/20 tire. My question is has anyone had experience good or bad with them? I have seen many mixed reviews on these tires. I don't track the car or drag the car but I do want a decent tire that will not break the bank, are there others out there that I should look into before pulling the trigger?

I've been considering those. I live in S. Texas, where there is heat 9 months of the year, and I pretty much only run tires like that. I don't really care about going through a set of tires every 20-30k as long as they stick. In my opinion, tires start getting crappy after about 3 years anyways. I used to autox so I am desensitized to buying sets if tires frequently. You had to get the newest, baddest tire every year, and some times gamble! As long as they don't sound like super swampers going down the road, I'll probably get them.

I’m happy with Falken FK510. They fit the bill and what you are looking after.

The radial version is pretty highly reviewed and recommended when running the R compound in the rear for RWD cars so they non Rs should be pretty nice too. I have a squared setup of the NT555R2s on order

I ran the earlier version of this tire, which was directional, and for the most part it performed well. Slightly below the performance of the Pilot Super Sport. My only real complaint was the road noise they generated. The G2's tread pattern certainly looks improved and they do not appear to be directional. Maybe the new tread pattern is not as noisy. Also, I do track my A6 at least twice a year and the Nitto's did not wear as well as the Michelin's, at least for my car.
My experience was primarily in dry conditions.

I run Nitto NT555 on my A6 and our SQ5 for summer. We love them, tons of grip, look great, perform well in rain. I don't find them loud, but I'm not sure which version I have.
