    RS5 Intercooler pump upgrade issue

    Hey guys,
I recently replaced the CWA50 intercooler water pump with the CWA100-2, for better flow (I also have the Wagner HX). ABT also uses this pump (although I think it`s the CWA100-3 variant, which is basically the same pump) in their Power Kit, along with the additional radiator. The problem I have is that I get an error: P190E00 - Coolant pump for charge pressure cooler - Supply voltage. The pump seems to work fine, IATs are ok, but I cannot erase the error, although it only shows up in the app (OBDEleven). Any thoughts / solutions? I know @TEKNIKA* also mounted this pump. I don`t think ABT would replace the OEM one with this one and have the error on all the time afterwards.*

I do not have a RS5, but I'm fairly versed in electrical stuff.

I looked up both pumps and it seems the CWA100 can draw 1.5 amps more than the 50 at load.

    https://tecomotive.com/en/products/CWA100.html and https://tecomotive.com/en/products/CWA50.html

So it is possible your car is sensing the operating voltage differences between the two pumps.

For additional heat interchange efficiency, you can use some of this the water.

There’s no real fix for it. The issue is caused because the new pump has a higher voltage draw to allow it to run at higher speeds. The car sees that the voltage draw is out of spec from what it expects so it flags it as an error.
