    You had the soft codes for valve malfunction after doing that. The purpose of these simulators is to prevent those.

    For the RS3,RS5,RS6 crowd I do have the correct 4 pin simulators as well.

    so what's the final word? do they cause a loss of power?

    I have a set that I got elsewhere and I'm pretty sure I feel the less of power. then coming to this thread it only confirms my suspicion.

    No power loss on the S4. You can just unplug the valves with no issues other than a soft code. Or use these as a nice tidy solution that prevents the code.

    how do these interact if your car is tuned?

    I can open/close valves depending on drive mode, or in individual settings.. but after turning the car of with valves open, ad then turning it back on, the valves automatically close and i then have to cycle the drive modes again for them to open. Does this just completely disable the valves? Because sometimes i would like to put it in comfort and close them.

    Don’t know, man, I’m getting soft codes on my SQ7 even with these plugs. Not saying that it’ll be the same across all platforms due to the fact that they did wonders on my B9 S5 (even with my Milltek setup) but on this car it’s a different story. I had to take them off.
