    Soft Top. Please close boot?

    Hello,

I have 2004 A4 Convertible 1.8T. Last week my CCM module got fried because of a really heavy rain (and really stupid design of Audi engineers the location of that module). I picked new CCM module from PYP yard (2004 Audi A4 quattro 1.8T). I got all other things cleared with VAG COM but I think some coding is still not right. When starting a car yellow soft top light blinks a while and goes away. When trying to open the top it shows message "Soft top. Please close boot". Also trunk is not opening either using FOB or the button on passenger door.
Any idea what coding is still wrong because both worked fine before the module burned?
Any help will be really appreciated.

Either you have a bad micro switch in the trunk lid or something very wrong with wiring going to the comfort module.

An easy though unlikely solution might be to manually open and close the top.

I have start thinking that actual problem is that CCM module itself. Original one was 8E0 959 433 C and oneI picked from scrapyard is 8E0 959 433 BB. I search a bit and looks Convertible needs 8E0 959 433 C or 8E0 959 433 L CMM. Found L type on EBay so will see how it will work after I get it.
