    All,
I have spent 300 credits trying to get this to work and had a back and forth with OBDEleven themselves (not much help at all) and for whatever reason I cannot disable the Auto S/S with the app. I have tried everything I can think of, I have even gone out and driven the car, had it auto stop so the app would see that its on and changed it and it still comes right back on..... Am I doing something wrong or

I disabled ASS through OBD eleven and it does disable it if the A/C is running. If the A/C is off, however, ASS will still kick in unless I hit the button on the dash.
Not sure if OBD eleven is supposed to fully defeat it or not.

You can use long coding to disable:

    Auto Start-Stop feature - disable
    Air Conditioning (08) > Adaptation > A/C comfort parameter for start-stop function > (default) 5 > change to new value (0 = disable start/stop)

It is not the AC which needs to be on but the Climate Control System - the on/off button which turns both heat and cool off.

That change is what the app does -- and doesn't cost you any points. Either method does the same thing. It does require that your HVAC system is not turned off.

If you want to keep HVAC off, you'll need to use the hardware method of installing the harness behind the dash.

If you plan on getting an ECU tune, a lot of them disable A/S/S

Another thumbs up for this thing. Super easy install. Worth twice the cost.

Same, bought the amazon linked one, installed yesterday in 2 min, super happy to get in the car this morning and not have to turn the s/s off when I forget and the car dies at the first stop sign out of my neighborhood. Will be looking for this for my Benz now too.
