neither Thule nor Yakima have anything for TT. Is there an not-too-visible hitch receiver anyone installed?

Not sure if you have a coupe or not, but I use Sea Sucker on my Avant.

Actually, I use an off name brand. If you have a couple, you should be able to make it work. If you have a convertible, then a hitch mount is probably your only option.

Just found a blog post on Sea Sucker's website about the Audi TT

I've used mine about a dozen times in the last 6 months, easy on, easy off. I've had the car up to about 85mph with the bike on the roof with no issues even though they say keep it under 80

Wondering if you ever found a hitch receiver for your MK 3. I have a roadster and would love to be able to carry my bikes to the trail as I have done with my MK2 for years.

There have been discussions where MK7 Golf R hitch will work on our TT. I also have a roadster and have it in my plans for the spring.

I saw a thread on another board about that. But, couldn't find any on I actually being done. Thanks for the info. At this point I've been looking locally for a welder that might give it a go.

I been thinking about a hitch for connecting a mini trailer for my track wheels for several years now (2017 TTs coupe), but my forums search didn't find anyone who has done that before (except for one person that changed their whole exhaust system to one straight pipe all the whole and custom created a rack for his tires). There are ones for Corvettes and for Miatas. Would appreciate any update you can share on your efforts, if and when... Thanks!
