Drag racing: Tire pressure on street tires (MP4s) ?

Those who drag race on street tires, what sort of pressures are you finding work best for you?

I'm on 235/35/19 MP4S' which are recommended to run 46 psi according to the door sticker (which seems excessive?). I could never do better than a 1.79 60' on draggy on the street. I tried airing them down to 33 psi which I'd read somewhere and when launching on boost I'm lucky to stay under 2.0, but launching before boost builds got me down to a 1.74 60'. I've not tried any lower yet. Just wondered what success other have had and would recommend.

The TPMS system doesn't like it at 33 and I keep getting a low warning on the front left no mater how many times I set it, which freaks me right out when it goes off at 120+ mph. Is there a minimum pressure for the TPMS? Is a low warning just something we have to live with when airing down or is there a procedure, or maybe a VCDS adjustment?

46 psi on the door sticker? guessing you dont have the dynamic pack. Does the car have direct TPMS? that is weird that it would be alerting you if you've set the MMI to recognize those as correct?
my '19 door sticker says 41psi front 38 psi back.
    I run MP4s in 255/35/18 square and I run 38psi front and 36psi rear.
I don't drag race but with the dragy these pressures are faster than stock. I'd assume lower pressures would be faster, up until a certain point. Think it's guess and check.
With direct TPMS its a lot easier cause you can see the pressures in the dash, and once you set them as correct the car changes the number to green and doesn't alert you unless they drop lower than that.

I have MP4S and for daily I run 38/39psi front and 36/37psi rear. At the drag strip I tend to run best between 27 and 29 psi at mid boost while it's building. Most of my runs are in the 1.7' for 60'. To get in the 1.6's 60' consistently you have to have good new tires and or a well prepped track that lets you run in the groove. I never ran in the 1.5's on the MP4S's..

TPMS does not like running low pressure and will not read.. I have not tried to figure out a fix..

Even though they are my favorite tire to run, sadly they are not the greatest for high hp on these cars. Especially with the haldex since if the fronts are spinning it puts more demand on the haldex (hate haldex for this reason). Lowest I can go with out getting a tpms to come on is 35+. Sadly would like to drive with 32 psi all around.

I run 35 front and 33 rear and still spin but I have a hybrid.
