I'm not trying to be a hater, or a price troll on the forums. In fact, I am a legit shopper, long time enthusiast, and more importantly former owner and board member of multiple used car buying dealer service businesses. But as a shopper. my active research, and the info I've gathered on the market of used S4's, I honestly thought at first that the asking on this car was $38995. Literally $10k less than this listing price. This isn't just opinion. There are plenty of comparable examples currently listed on CarGuru, AutoTrader, etc. that are literally $10k less than what is being asked for this now. So I have to ask how did you figure this asking price? I really want to know why such a variance? It can't be just inflation. I have to be missing something.

The used car market is richer by 15-20% due to a chip shortage for the new car market. People are trying to capitalize on it, plain and simple. The price is absurd, but there's the "OBO", so when the person who buys it gets it for 45K (still too much) they will feel like they got a deal. The prices on B9 S4's like a lot of other cars has moved up over the past 6 months, but this is a big asking price. Example: Last October I purchased the same optioned car as this but Navarra Blue/Rotor Gray at an Audi Dealer. It only had a little over 20K miles and I paid substantially less than this one is priced for. It would be interesting to know the vehicle's in-service date, because given that it is an 18, it is most likely on the verge of being out of warranty or already is.

this price still makes zero sense even with the bump in the used car market and OBO. you can get a certified S4 with less miles and the same specs for 7k less than you’re asking
