I am hoping this helps people who are looking for the best prices on oem parts,. Not autozone, not rockauto etc.
I price shop a lot because I tend to buy quite a few parts at a time, once a year. I actually just bought a round of parts and checked 5-6 different websites. None of these websites/dealers have the best prices across the board. Some offer better prices in certain part areas. So here are my experiences in price hunting Audi OEM Parts which goes back to 2015.
genuineaudiparts.com
an audi dealer in San Diego, I think.
I've noticed they changed / updated their website over the past couple of years.
They used to be the cheapest and it wasn't even close, we are talking like 20%. That changed somewhere around 2018-2019. They are still cheaper than everyone else in a wide range of parts, but its nominal now. Like 3-5% :(
audionlineparts.com.
I've ordered a couple of things through them, but not a lot. They are legit.
They are a smidge higher than genuineaudiparts as of 2019. Prior to genuine's price increases, they were a distant 2nd.
audiusaparts.com
I've purchased from them 2-3 times over the past 6 years. Occasionally they are competitive. It really just depends on what you are buying.
They have consistently come in 3rd in price compared to the first two.
audipartssupply.com
I think this is audi of manhattan. I had a very good experience with their online customer service. They are competitive with expensive parts i.e. transmission components etc.
Not across the board and not with consumables (filters etc) but for more expensive stuff, they are worth a look.
oemvwshop.com.
They are absolutely worth a look if you are needing parts and can wait 2-3 weeks to get them.
They are in Europe. I've bought underside splash shields, suspension components and other stuff from these guys. Very responsive, legitimate. Take advantage of their cheapest shipping and payment options to get the best prices.
Even with shipping from Europe, they can often beat prices stateside. They always pack stuff very well for the trip and I've never had broken stuff show up, which is pretty impressive. Its probably a good thing I don't live in Europe near these guys. I'd probably end up spending all of my money there.
