    Hi there,

Do you guys have any nice windshield sun shade recommendations?
I bought some generic one at the auto store and it's not great.

    Thank you.

I had the same issue and just ordered the weather tech screen that will be here this week. The OEM version had issues with bleeding and they stopped production and have not been released yet.

    Hi,

I noticed that you're in CT. Could you please provide some more details on product, shop, price?

    Thank you.

Great fit on my RS7 with a cutout for the HUD.

I have run 50% up front in the past and 20% on the sides, makes driving at night a little tough imo.

Just ordered mine about a week ago. Heard of eventual quality issues with the Weathertechs, and Covercraft came highly-recommended from a few people I trust. Glad to hear you're enjoying yours!

I had the Covercraft and didn't like it. After about six months the silver side that faces the windshield started to disintegrate and little bits of silver stuck to the windshield. Had to use a razor blade to get it off. I also used the OEM Audi sunshield at one point and that was a real POS. It out-gassed and made the windshield hazy repeatedly.

I'm using this now and it's cheap and gets the job done. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Note: I'm in South Florida and the blazing Sun is extreme. I've measured the inside temp of my car on a hot sunny day and it was 138 degrees.

Any issues with too much reflected heat on that one? I've seen some where it melts EZ-pass holders and lamination between the glass from the reflected heat.

No. Even my dashcam that uses 3M VHB has held fast.

I did order and receive this one. Once it arrived I recognized it as something I used on my BMW 328i years ago in Florida. It worked really well.

The shade works well here too. Those are rigid and a bit awkward to put on - you need a method - but once up it's solid, reflects heat and is really well insulated, which means that the surface towards the cabin does not heat up the interior via convection or radiation.

    I'd highly recommend it.

The WeatherTech sun visor is great! Tight fit and rolls up easy!

Just got the weatherTech and it is a really good buy at 60 bucks and fits super tight. Very pleased so far and with today's high of 110, we'll see how well is works.
