Just bought a 2013 C7 A6 3.0T last week. Itchy fingers, I wanted to know what the stock car will do before I put on an EPL stage 1 ECU and TCU tune next week, so I bought a Dragy. My mind is blown for a car that is this heavy and 102k miles!!!

19 inch wheels, sport package, 102k miles

    0-60 mph = 5.11 sec

    13.48 sec quartermile at 102.73

I just bought a 2012 and have been similarly impressed with the performance.

That and the 32MPG I got on a recent road trip with the cruise set on 80.

Looking forward to the stage 1 & TCU results. I’m optimistically guessing 0-60 is around 4.5 and the 1/4 mile around 12.8 at 110.

    Good luck!!

Xmas came early. The EPL OBD2/cable came in. Shout out to Chris and the guys/gals? at EPL. Chris answered all my questions, helped me setup the files/installation. The install took only 10-15 mins. Ok, first impressions.
Stage 1 and TCU tune: right away it felt different, I just drove in D and comfort mode for 10 mins. Usually I drive in sports/dynamic mode all the time because D mode feels so lazy, but this time, D mode felt almost like sport mode already, I would say probably felt like 75% of sports mode. The TCU did not feel like much changed in D mode.

Sports mode and Dynamic mode: I know everyone says watch out for sports mode and the TCU tune in sports/dynamic mode but GOTT DAM. I don't think I can even drive daily in sports/dynamic mode any more. The car just wants to go go go. It asks for more, and like a proud papa, I said that's all, 100 mph is enough. 0-60 feels like nothing now and 0-100 feels like what 0-60 used to be. It's werid because after 80 mph it just wants to climb to the limiter, it feels like a 2003 Benz E55 ( supercharged 469 hp and 12.4 sec quartermile stock ). Before the stage 1 tune, the car did not want to go much more than 110 mph ( it did but slowly ).

Manual/Dynamic mode: feels alot like sports mode but you can control/hold the throttle to your liking, this is probably the place to be when spirited driving.

No DRAGY yet since I want it to have the full 3 days of conforming as everyone says. After 30mins of initial driving, I laid out a stop-start to 100. The launch seemed faster because of the power increase, it was crazy to see the 7,000 rpm shifts, and they were smooth, and I didn't pay attention and got to 120. Dragy next week.

very nice! have you launched in amax mode yet? makes the car feel super aggressive from a dead stop. the shifts are much more aggressive and you will instantly notice the difference.

turn off traction controll, put car in dynamic/s mode. then pop over to manual shift mode( let car auto shift at 7k)

After that just hold break hard with left foot, and smash gas quickly to the floor. wait for rpms to climb to 2500 for a second then let go of brake and the car will shift in amax mode

So... this is how I normally launch and it isn't AMAX?
Turn on Dynamic which turns on Sports mode then turn off traction control, hold the brakes, press the gas, and let go of the brake when it hits 2,000 rpm.
I achieved the 13.48 sec this way.

You did everything right, but make sure car is warmed up and let go once RPMs stabilize at the stall speed to ensure AMAX is engaged. If the trans fluid isn't up to the required minimum temperature AMAX will not engage. Usually 5 minutes of driving is what it takes, unless cold out.

as p3u said you did evrything right, with the new tcu tune you should notice the amax shifts being much more aggressive/ harsh compared to the normal shifts in the same drive settings while accelerating from a roll

That sounds about right with the DA on pump gas.

Looks like either something is wrong with my car, or I need to practice launching. This guy is moving for only stage 1.

I ran a 12.34 according to my Dragy. Winter tires (wrong size from my previous C6) may have contributed to the time.

If you don't engage AMAX, the times will be substantially slower. It's a big difference.

I am getting about the same 0-60 times as OP.

However, I am not 100% sure that I did it correctly. I did not put the car in Dynamic, simply switched to S mode.

I have not had a chance to try the car again since this time which was in February. I would imagine now that it is HOT out, the car would be slower. lol

Stg1+TCU. The TCU makes a substantial difference as well. I only ran a 12.5@113mph when single pulley. TCU would have improved things for sure. Edit: I see you are TCU tuned so don't know what to say if your 0-60 was similar as the AMAX launch makes the biggest difference in how aggressive things are. Needless to say, DA and IATs make a huge difference from run to run, car to car.

Sepheroth86.... f4m0u5 was correct... I used to launch in just Dynamic and sports mode and traction control off.. but clicking Dynamic mode, turn off traction control and then switch to manual mode assures that it will shift at the 7k rpm line.... before I used to not put it in manual mode and launching was 50-50 to get in AMAX mode.

Let me know your new time afterwards.... itchy fingers for a stage 2 already.. lol

My car will shift at 7000rpm in D, but I am thinking that AMAX did not work. I will try again the next time we get some cooler weather.

    I gotta stop... lol

Ordered stage 2 EPL with single SC pulley last week.... finally able to install this week, results after 1 day adaptation. I know everyone says it takes 2 to 3 days for adaptation, but right after the ECU update to stage 2. You can feel that the supercharger is spinning faster. Stage 1 was like more top end boost like a turbo car. This stage 2, single SC pulley, you can feel on the butt dyno. The TQ is felt from 2k rpm to 7k rpm.

    Anyways.. results

    0-60... 4.10 sec

    Quarter... 12.20 sec
