MIB2 retrofit help

Hello, I have been trying to get help with no success in retrofitting MIB2 into A6 C7 pre-fl.

I got a guy who can do softwares, CP, coding etc. but not wiring.

Is anybody able to help me please?

I need to retrofit MIB2 unit into car with MMI 3GP, rear view-camera, TV tuner and BOSE soundsystem.

The guy that will be doing software coding got all units needed (MIB2, display, gateway, bose amp, USB ports, instrument cluster) but how to make connectors adjustments? can anybody help please?

Most likely you won’t need any connection-changes, but the MIB2 unit has to be cracked. If you do standard CP Removal, the FeC’s are gonna get removedz

Thanks for reply but no... SW is no problem for me, but the pinout is whole different. Just look at MIB2 and 3GP back of units :(

Hi! Did you fiind any thing? doing same for my Audi A7 prefacelift RMC to MIB2 and im not sure what wiring i need for gateway to MMI.

im gonna follow this cuz i been interested in the swap, but everything points to just get an RSNAV instead of retrofitting just based off the cost.. MIB retrofit is almost double buying an RSNAV

the only reason i havent switched to RSNAV yet is because i really like tucking away the screen sometimes... kind of "unplugs" me lol

If your MMI is pre MIB2, there are touchscreen retrofits out there that fit in factory folding housing.

I know they are sold on aliexpress. I saw numerous models when looking to find one for mib2. Someone on the forums installed one as well, you’d have to search for that as I don’t recall what thread it was in
