I was reading through your website. Is your tcu tune compatible with other brand ecu tunes? I assume so as they should be separate but read something that made me think otherwise on the site. And can the launch room be adjusted by the user?

    NEW: IE C7/C7.5 S6 & S7 4.0T ECU Stage 1 Tune!

The all-new 4.0T EA824 Tune is packed with features, are you ready for real power? Click here ---> https://bit.ly/3yxRUnH

    Power Results:
    Audi Advertised stock: 420HP / 406TQ
    IE measured Stock: 455HP / 456TQ
    IE Stage 1 91 Octane: 575HP / 621TQ
    IE Stage 1 93 Octane: 602HP / 646TQ
    IE Stage 1 E85: 652HP / 760TQ

    Leading Features:
    • IE guarantee -45 days risk free
    • Horsepower & torque gains maximized
    • Stock boost control optimized for all conditions
    • 91, 93, & E85 octanes available (95, 98, RON & E85)
    • ECU safely adapts between E65-E85 Ethanol
    • Optional Exhaust Crackle feature
    • Optional Ghost Cam feature
    • Rev limiter increased to 6800 RPM with DSG flash
    • Launch control torque increased for faster launches
    • Road speed limiters removed
    • Annoying cylinder deactivation deleted
    • Engineered for all climates and elevations
    • Direct port OBDII at-home flashing
    • Easy octane switching takes only minutes
    • Upgrade stages to match hardware upgrades
    • Simple on/off feature toggling
    • Read and clear diagnostic/problem codes
    • Easy to use Data-logger

    Full E85 Ethanol Support
E85 fuel unlocks the most performance potential from our ECU tunes for your Audi S6 or S7. Ethanol contains tons of oxygen, burns cooler, and has a high resistance to knock. This provides more horsepower and torque than running conventional gasoline and is more readily available (in most states) and less expensive than race gas. E85 is an optional fuel map included with all tune purchases. Safeguards are included within the E85 ECU calibrations to adjust for ethanol as low as E65.

    DSG Tune Required
Due to turbo sizing and engine characteristics, massive torque gains are seen through the low-mid range of the powerband. This exceeds the torque limitations of the factory DSG calibration and will cause slipping in the clutch packs. Instead of sandbagging power and reducing performance, IE tunes are safely engineered to fully realize all available performance, but will require the additional purchase of the DSG transmission tune to reliably take advantage of the intense power. Learn More HERE

    Optional Features
Ghost Camuses the variable valve timing to produce a lopey V8 idle. This large cam sounding idle is active during idle only and will return to normal function during driving.

Exhaust Crackle feature will add a motorsport-inspired crackle sound to your exhaust note when you free-rev the engine or decelerate.

    Easy Install
IE's POWERlink Cable and Flash Wizard software gives you the freedom to quickly flash your new IE ECU Tune. Simply plug your POWERlink into the vehicle's OBD-2 port and follow the on-screen directions, it's that easy!

    Reliability Testing
IE's fully proven software brings track-ready ECU programming to your turbocharged V8 engine while retaining factory comfort and reliability. IE's own tuning technology suite is used to completely reverse-engineer the factory ECU mapping, allowing our software engineers access to realign all safety protocols and sensors for the new performance calibration. Every tune parameter undergoes months of testing on our in-house dyno systems that utilize the world's only Sea Level Generator developed specifically to verify tune operations in any condition. Confidently drive from LA to Pikes Peak with power that will keep you smiling every mile!

    Five Star Guarantee
IE's number one goal from purchase to installation is to provide you with the best customer experience in the industry. We want what you want; a simple purchase process, products that exceed expectations, and a brand that's got your back. If at any point you have any questions, need help, or require support with your new tune IE's educated customer support team and tuning specialists are standing by and happy to help. Purchasing an IE tune not only guarantees a quality product, but that you will always have us in your corner.

Any plan to optimize for the SRM/RS turbo inlets that most run since the gains seem to be better than DPs

Our TCU should work with most other brands of ECU Tunes just fine. The main issue when mixing them is if the TCU RPM limit is higher than the ECU RPM limit, that causes problems. So as long as your Engine RPM is set to around 6800 RPM in your ECU Tune -it will work fine.

Our calibrators did a ton of testing with our ECU/TCU combo and found that around 3K RPM was the fastest consistent launch every time. That is where our TCU tune is set to launch for the guaranteed fastest movement. Any less and it's not a fast enough launch, more and it spins tires like crazy. However, if adjustable LC is a feature a lot of customers want -they are open to adding it and it can be done.

Thank you so much. Man, I've been having a blast watching our engineers and calibrators work on these. They are so fun to drive, make tons of power, and sound AMAZING. Oh, and hybrid turbos on these is wild!! ;)

Good question! I believe our engineering department is actually gearing up to make our own to match our upcoming intake system as well. So yes, the tune will cover our inlets which would also cover other brands.

Loving the Ghost Cam feature. What exhaust? Factory? Sport? Aftermarket? I wish that clip at idle was much longer. I'd love to hear that feature with my Akra.

What about the crackle feature? There's already plenty on the C7.5 from the factory and I wouldn't want it to change at all. So I'd want to turn it off so its not more crackley than factory, but want to make sure that doesn't kill the factory crackle either.

I know it's not released yet, but what is your definition of full bolt-ons regarding Stage 2?

Factory "Crackle" is not changed, so if you enjoy that then you still will with our optional crackle disabled. Our dev car in the clip had a factory exhaust with the resonators removed. I know these audio only type features are not for everyone and that's why they are optional. But man, I personally drove this around a local race track function a bit to take some media and I had a blast with Ghost Cam while parking it to take photos and such. This is a twin turbo V8 and it's a lot of fun to sound like one, haha.

Stage 2 main requirement will be downpipes, it will obviously allow for other mods as well. I'm betting E85 will need HPFP on Stage 2 and above for sure.

Regular factory exhaust with resonators removed, or factory sport exhaust with resonators removed? You wouldn't happen to have any cold start clips, would you? I love it and want the ghost cam, but my neighbors might hate me with my Akra exhaust. This is actually the deciding factor that would lead me to choose your tune over others, but would be a waste if I can't use it.

I just worry that any change to the crackle would also be too loud with my exhaust, but I would definitely have to try it.

As far as bolt ons, I never plan on more than intake/inlets and exhaust. Rs7 turbos would be nice, but I'm not doing downpipes, cooling, fueling, etc, so it would never be more than Stage 1 for me.

Stage 1 on our file, especially with E85 is a super blast! If you're not wanting to do dowpipes and jazz then you'll be quite happy with that I'm sure. I think you'll be very happy with the sound on your aftermarket exhaust. :)

Also I should note that Ghost Cam does not enable during cold start, so it won't be any different than now. Ghost Cam only reaches it's full potential at operating temp. It's pretty neat, it fades in as the car warms up so the closer it gets to operating temp the more the ghost cam comes in. It also does not effect any of the regular cold start routines and such.

The cable is sold separately for both the ECU and TCU. This is because you only need one cable to flash both/either.

It should work just fine, yes. The only reason it wouldn't work is if the TCU tune was set to a higher RPM limit than the engine tune -which I believe both ours and theirs are similar. If not, I suppose with DS1 you can change the RPM anyhow. :)

When you say downpipes, do you mean catless? High flow?

An aftermarket performance downpipe. So for dedicated race cars, either a high-flow CAT system or a catless downpipe would work.

Hey guys, I wanted to update few features on our new Tune, after quite a few customer requests we have updated the DSG Tune to now have user-adjustable Launch Control; set the RPM limit for launch when you flash the tune. Also, we have made it so you can request to have the Cylinder Deactivation stay on if you want to keep it for fuel economy reasons.

I also wanted to share a couple of exciting Dragy results from one of our customers.

Stage 1, E85, no launch control used:

    Stage 1 93 octane w/launch control:

On our E85 file, I think we might just get this car into the 10's by using launch control!

Hi there- can you confirm if the tune works for the 2018 S6? Website shows C7 and C7.5 but stops at 2017- i'm hoping this is just a model year vs actual year thing, and crossing my fingers the 2018 isn't some black sheep where the tune won't work

Yes, it is fully compatible with all C7/C7.5 years including 2018. I updated our website to reflect that as well.

hey sorry, missed this question. Yes, you can use an IE POWERlink cable on up to 5 different VINs. You can use a friend's cable and even purchase your credits to flash the June through it directly if they don't mind donating a VIN to you. (y)

Good question, I'm not sure if there are plans to do so, but as of right now it's not on the immediate list of development tunes.

Ideally, you would want to do them at the same time. If you have to drive somewhere to do it, then you could fill with E85 then drive conservatively to flash over to the E85 file as soon as possible.

There was a FB post showing a guy with his RS7 hinting about things to come. Sounds like something may be in the works
