Does anyone happen to know how much power the 3.0 tfsi engines can make before the stock internals might start to fail?

To my knowledge, it's more common to run into issues with the supercharger or melting cats before hitting the limit. Somewhere around 500+ by my estimate.

I don't believe anyone has found that limit yet because pistons are being burnt up by a lack of fueling before the rods are bending. My guess is 600 ft lbs of torque will be a true test for the internals. There are people now running 500whp and close to 500W TQ and as long as whatever supplemental fueling they have keeps working the engines seem to take it like a champ.

It's torque not power that will break stuff. I think around 600lb ft is the limit for the 3.0t and the dl501

With auxiliary fueling an S4 made like 575 whp, and they’re hoping to crack 600. I can’t recall the torque numbers, but these motors have a lot more room to stretch their legs than we previously thought.

Jesus 575 is still crazy and especially if they broke into the 600whp mark!

That’s just on a ported SC too. I’m super excited to see what we can do on a bigger blower once fueling is sorted out. That’s probably when we’ll start to see the limits of the internals

That's me! My car actually did 10.4@136mph before that track day this in theory over 600whp. But this year I will be doing secondary fuel injection and new intake manifold setup ! Intake a alone spool up my turbo faster by 10% I'm super exited for this year.

I want to say that S4Matty has the record S4 at something like 10.2 seconds. (3.0t supercharged)

I know he has the fastest s4 but he has an s5 which is heavier and I believe he was even full weight for his pull
