The paint is....looks o.k. from ~10', but really needs a respray and minor body work to match all the other work, which was next to do after putting in Vintage Air AC System (not included) (NEW A/C KIT UNIVERSAL UNDER DASH EVAPORATOR 406B 12V 14X20 cond. & ELEC. HARNESS | eBay)
Cons:
- Needs paint
- Would replace all three cheapo center console dash gauges
- Would swap the current MSD tach convertor module to a MSD 8918 tach convertor so the tach isn't so jumpy ($68).
- Replace the external wastegate (~$75), currently boosting at ~8psi, this system goes to ~21psi. I've had to replace it 3 times before on other longitude 1.8t's due to it's poor placement saturated in heat.
Pros:
Rare:
- Get the hell outta here with throwing around rare, seriously just stop people, here's a true, seriously case of rare.
- 2nd gear starts are all that's need, 1st will chirp/peal out the tires with out trying. A nominal effort the car will always be first off the line and first across the intersection and off and away.
- A slip on / slip over cat is provided if you need to pass emissions, and has passed tail pipe emissions with flying colors.
- As if not rare enough, it's the rarest being a '79 as were only made for ~6 weeks.
There's way more. Car is always garaged here in Phoenix, Arizona. $15k firm no trades. Blake 602-487-38threeeight (if you want to talk text first as too many robo callers so won't answer, text is fine too).
