How to repin airbag connector? (TT8S Steering wheel retrofit

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Currently in the middle of retrofitting the Audi TT8S Steering wheel in my Audi A3 (pictured below)
I am not at the stage where I need to repin the TT airbag connector in order to make it work on my A3. For this I need to move the brown wire to pin 7. However, no matter what I try I can't unpin the wire from the connector. I have been trying for over 2 hours now even had a friend try help me and it's just not unclipping. I have tried the terminal removal tools, I have tried other types of pins and it just won't release I didn't think it would be this much of a headache to repin a single wire.. I have removed the purple locking pin as can be seen in the pictures.

Does anyone have a clue how to get the stubborn wires on this connector to unpin??

Maybe try just jumping it to the new pin?
