    ECU Swap

I’m driving a 2004 Audi Allroad 2.7 BiTurbo, I previously destroyed an MTM ECU because BEL Engine software cannot be tuned. I have looked at doing an B5 S4 APB Swap but that will not work because the engine codes are restricted. What can I do to change my current BEL ECU to something that is multi-tunable for E85 and 93 fuels? All I want to do is make this car faster, and just now figuring out I cannot even tune the car without changing the ECU again.

I had a BEL allroad and it was tuned (stage 1, but still tuned). That sounds like a load of crock to me.

I know the BEL engine is tunable but for the 2.7T engines with the push down coils, and immob, and SAI, there are many restrictions. I have the 7.1.1 ECU and the maps are different compared to 7.1 ECUs from 00-02. What did your tune specifically change? I’m just trying to gain more knowledge.

    ECU Swap

Nope. Totally tuneable. Remotely as well. Had a K04 allroad with BEL and ME 7.1.1. Emissions, AGT’s, etc. All can be manipulated.

    Find a better tuner.

I'll echo that - find Stuklr if he's still in the game. Might still have a fakebook page. He remote tuned my BEL 2.7t several years ago and eliminated the SAI, EGT's while in there. Stock ME7.1.1 551R ECU

This is a second topic by the same person, and in the first one I tried to explain him, problem is not with ME7.1.1, or BEL ECU, but the fact that his older ECU he destroyed had actual daughterboard with flash chip soldered, which no one does anymore for many years. He rendered that ECU useless by attempting to flash it. Simple solution is to buy used 4Z7907551R part (example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/143925140935) and find qualified tuner, which are plenty. Second on coding out EGT, SAI, and probably immobilizer.

    He’s still around.

Theadjack: Have you had him tune your S6 avant? I was thinking of doing it on mine and coding out the SAI (tired of hunting down leaks, it works, just not as perfectly as the ecu wants)

I have not had him tune my S6 since the 6 speed swap last summer. Back when Stuklr tuned the A6 he also did an SAI delete on the S6. With the 6-speed swap, I flashed a Daz Dillenger file with Nefmoto. The file (Rollerton posted) is Euro 6-speed & "emissions delete" so SAI and rear o2's are coded out.

That file (and stock euro 559E are linked here - post#2)

Was your MTM a soldered on chip tune? I have an’04 A6 2.7t ( BEL ) with the AA ECU. I swapped with an R ECU and tuned it myself.
The BELECU is every bit as tunable, As the APB ECU’s. They only BEL ECU That isn’t worse, attempting to tune, is the S.

What software did you use to tune your me7.1.1?
