    BBS CH-R wheels opinion

I want a set of 20" wheels for my 2019 RS5 Sportback and don't want to wait 4-8 weeks. I am considering a set of the BBS CH-R in black and removing the stainless steel rim guard. I like the classic sporty look of this wheel and I can get a set now. I want to keep my budget under $3,000 for the wheels. Do you think the BBS CHR is starting to look dated or do they still have the classic sporty look to them? I replacing my stock Audi 5 -Arm peak design wheels that I don't really love the look of, epically the lighter color against glacier white. Should I wait and order some HRE or Vossens?

I was in your situation. I had HRE wheels ordered but then couldn’t wait with unknown ETA, so changed my order to BBS wheels in stock. For me it just wasn’t the wheels I really really wanted, and ended up getting new wheels later anyhow. And it was a huge pain selling the BBS wheels at a loss at the end of the day. You’d think there’s a nice market for reselling BBS wheels but people are into big discounts on used wheels. Depreciation is crazy. I know you’re probably super excited to get the right look fast for the car, but I’d wait out for the exact wheels even if it took 2-3 months. But that’s me talking in hindsight.

The BBS CHR wheel is one of the better looking wheels ever designed, it's a classic and looks great on the B9. Ferrari copies it too!

I would consider powder coating your stock wheels bronze.

I cannot see ever tiring of the CH-R. It's my favorite overall wheel and I have run sooooo many sets, haha! The CH-R is most copied wheel ever. I went with a black set for my RS5 and removed the rim guard.

Take a look at the first pic in the B9 A/S/RS5 Wheel Gallery thread. That red RS5 with CH-R wheels is mine. Needless to say, I love the look of the CH-R.

As others have said, such a classic wheel that looks good on so many cars. Definitely one of my favorites to look at - never owned a set though.
