3.2 exhaust

Hey all,

Recently bought a b8 3.2, was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for exhausts. Originally planned on going full custom due to lack of actual exhausts for platform + engine, but got me thinking that most the b8 systems probably are the same for the most part so wondering if I'd be able to go a generic a4 b8 catback or something and just weld up a downpipe or whatever I need to hook it all up. Basically just wanna know if any others have rigged something up for their 3.2s

TBH I don’t think there’s very many 3.2 owners left out there but I could be wrong. In any case here’s a thread dedicated to the 3.2, might find some ideas there.

3.2L (CALA) A4 and 3.0T (CAKA) S4 are similar. I'm not sure how far forward you could go reusing S4 3.0T product.

You might look at A5 3.2L vs A5 3.0T discussions too, as the 8T 3.2L was far more common than the 8K 3.2L, at least here in North America. While the parts would be different, the question of 3.2L vs 3.0T exhaust interchange would be the same.

But the 8K 3.0T exhaust, I imagine, would be your only other area of relevance to the 8K 3.2L exhaust.

Appreciate the help lads, I'll definitely look more into the a5 3.2 and 3.0. Being from kangaroo land is proving to make finding suppliers hard and 2nd hand virtually impossible, especially if I don't want to sell a kidney for shipping.

Just in case anyone in the future happens to stumble across this thread with the same issues, currently I'm looking at just buying a remus axle back and if thats not loud enough for my liking I'll weld up something up for cat to axle. (https://www.kmdtuning.com/audi/a4/b8...roduct_id=7272)
