    A great past weekend doing some on-track testing and certification of our upcoming Dynamic+ Static Camber + Caster Plates. These plates proved to show an increased amount of mid-corner grip and we cannot wait to offer these amongst many other products coming soon for the 8V/MQB platform!

    These plates are not to be confused with our already offered Camber Mount Pair.

    My camber plates squeak like a mo-fo both in turning and in bump. Will the new ones be less noisy?
    2008 R8 V8 Manual: Uni 93 ECU tune * Avior Exhaust * Spacers * R8 Puddle lights * Custom mats. All 12 of my other VAG cars are gone :(

    Your current camber plates should not be squeaking. Shoot us an email at [email protected] and we can help figure this out for you!

    Some NVH is expected with our new Camber Plates as it will utilize a spherical bearing for the strut mount. This will largely be determined by the tire compound you are running.

    Thanks.. They have since new.. One thing I didn't think to ask though - with your springs (that I put on at the same time), did I need to cut down the bump stops? Its definitely a rubber "squidgy" sound (I had put new upper bearings from you guys at the same time too).

    I ordered a 034 turbo inlet pipe from a couple days ago and a high flow filter from another maker before I saw you guys offered a whole kit. Now I see I should have also bought the Hose. Do you sell the turbo inlet hose separately? Thanks !

    034Motorsport’s Billet Aluminum Rear Main Seal is designed to replace the failure-prone stamped steel factory Rear Main Seal on your 2.0T Audi. This Billet Rear Main Seal is CNC machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum and features an OEM Viton Elring seal with an integral tension spring to ensure a tight seal to the crankshaft.

    The OEM rear main seal utilizes a poorly designed PTFE “sealing lip” which over time leads to an oil leak between your engine and transmission. The failure of a rear main seal can also cause crankcase pressure issues and possibly even misfires.

    Are there any plans to develop software for the TDI's? I am mainly looking for DSG software that could be flashed at your location, would be great!

    Not sure all that goes in to it (probably a lot more than I'm imagining), but I imagine it could be somewhat close to the gas version, just with different shift points and RPM behavior. I'd love to help with development, if that's something you would need.

    What drop will the non mag springs be? It would be very nice for people looking to drop standard suspension A3s but not slam the car to a height that is not practical for real daily use. I have been searching for springs in the .75 to 1.00 range. This would make the look nice with 18 inch wheels and no longer look like an AMC Eagle (google that if your young). You can use your current springs on a non mag car with about a 1.75 drop but thats too much. You can read all day about people with standard non sport suspension looking for a drop-in spring that will get the car down to a normal height and not be slammed. Lots of results for fitting Sport suspension springs to non sport suspension by people that think 1.5 is too much.

    If the shift points of the DQ250 TCU tune in D mode are the same as stock, which is what I observed when I was using your TCU tune, how do you qualify saying the entirety of the TCU was recalibrated?

    Yes, that is correct. We are hoping to have these right around the end of the year. This includes ethanol files and support for IS38 and one of the EQT Turbos.

    While the 034Motorsport Calibration Team is actively developing support for the EQT Vortex Turbocharger, the new Garrett GT2260S, and G25-660 for the EA888.3 sure look quite enticing!

    The 034Motorsport Street Density Strut Mount & Bearing Bundle includes a pair of 70 durometer Street Density Strut Mounts and replacement Strut Mount Bearings. This bundle contains the necessary pieces when replacing noisy and worn parts or when upgrading your front suspension.

    The factory front strut bearings see a lot of load from the suspension, and can wear and become noisy over time. This bundle of mounts will also eliminate the annoying "squeaking" sound often caused by the stock strut mounts when paired with coilover suspensions. Street Density Strut Mounts will only cause a minimal increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) inside of the cabin.     MEASURABLE PERFORMANCE GAINS:
    There are several ways to quantify the performance of an engine system's intake, the intake being the air box with filter that allows ambient air to enter the engines induction system that ultimately leads to the intake manifold. Ultimately how easily air flows through the intake filter and air box assembly determines how much the engine is restricted as it ingests air to combust it with fuel, and intake that restricts air flow will restrict the amount of air the engine can take in, which limits the power it can produce. Optimally, an intake should pose no restriction to the engine, so that the engine can ingest as much air as possible to produce the power it has the potential to produce. Typically factory intakes do this well, but as power is increased, the factory intakes pose more restriction and thus limit the power potential of the engine.

    At 034Motorsport we express our intake performance in pressure drop, CFM airflow and a Horsepower and TQ test. The most reliable of these 3 are pressure drop and CFM as these can be discreetly quantified for any intake in a very controlled way that allows the comparison of various intake system's performance potentials. The HP test is the most relative as it relies on many other factors that affect the power output of the engine including ECU tuning, exhaust modifications, turbo system modifications etc. Since the intake doesn't produce power itself, it only supports it, the actual power produced is always going to depend on the engine's performance and also if it has a supercharger or turbocharger system involved.

    When you see 034Motorsport's accurately tested and advertised flow data, you can be assured that the intake you are considering has a substantively engineered flow increase to support your future power goals and activities.

    CFM GAINS:
    CFM stands for "cubic feet per minute" of airflow, the higher the number, the higher the horsepower an intake can support, at 034Motorsport we design our intakes to have substantial flow increases over the factory intake, we test all our intakes at 28" of water (how much vacuum is used to suck air through the intake) on a Superflow airflow bench which gives us very accurate and repeatable test results. A stock intake that flows 200CFM may only freely support about 300HP, an intake that flows 400CFM can support roughly twice that power or 600HP.

    Nice! Although with your camber plates its just too much. Which would be better - these or the camber plates? I'm thinking these if this gives you more track width?
