    Audi C7 S6 Coolant/Antifreeze

Good afternoon, does anyone know what engine coolant for the 4.0L TT antifreeze/coolant the engine takes? OEM/Aftermarket. I’m just a hairline below the minimum and I want this to get squared away. Thanks for your time, any link, name brand, would be gratefully appreciated!

Would I be able just to add some or would I need to pump it out and add entirely new liquid to the car?

Since it’s such a small amount. I would just top off with some distilled water.

For these cars only use oem G13 coolant or equivalent aftermarket coolant

Like stated g13 , purple and it's already 50/50 mixed for
    24$

I've also seen pento brand I think at box auto stores but haven't used it

On a side note I also went to the dealer(dispensary) and got some g13 ,green

If you are below the min line I would not fill with just distilled water as that will dilute the system probably too much for winter. When I drained my coolant for my A7 I refilled with Pentafrost Pentosin G13. I was a bit short and picked up a gallon from the dealer since I was there for other stuff anyways. On a different repair I topped off with Prestone European coolant with no issue.

I have never seen the need to get only OEM fluids. Audi did not make the fluid, they had it made by one of the “aftermarket” companies to their spec.

Pentofrost E in the 5 liter jug on Rockauto is the best price out there. I take one of those, plus a gallon of distilled water, and add it to a big ol jug. Drop in my vacuum refill tool... done!

As others have stated, G13 is what you need. The OE premix gallon (which is available at VW dealerships as well) part number is G-A13-774-1G-DSP, which for about $20 might be wise if you don't know *why* your car is a little low on coolant. Otherwise if you've got a dealership nearby, they should happily top it off for free.
