I had posted this last weekend but with the Audizine outage I noticed many posts didn't get restored, so I'm just now getting to writing it over.
When I decided to go E85 with 034's tune, I questioned what kind of mileage and range I could expect. I didn't really get a clear and convincing answer, plus with me being me, I wanted to chart it myself. This post is hopefully to help and inform others if they have the same question. I was somewhat concerned with mileage and range as we use the SQ5 for all road trips and E85 isn't available everywhere.
Since flashing the E85 tune I have seen an average of 12-14 MPG combined over about 2,500 miles, I have to admit, I drive with a heavy foot and tend to think more about having fun than fuel economy.
That being said, we took our first road trip on E85. After some reading and crude calculations, in addition to some commute time I've put on the SQ5, I decided 250 miles was a safe bet on a tank. I then charted out where I could get E85 and planned out our drive. We were leaving home in the East Bay and driving down to Anaheim for Disneyland. It is about a 385 mile trip each way under normal conditions (hitting stations on I5 rather than going off route for E85)
On the way down we filled up here in Hayward, topped off in Tracy (37 miles), hit Bakersfield (226 miles) and arrived in Anaheim with more than half a tank. On our return we filled up in Anaheim (142 Miles), Filled up in Bakersfield (136 miles) and made the drive all the way home (268 miles.) Arriving home we had about 1/4 tank, We had covered 403 miles on the drive home and the dash showed 17.7 mpg:

Doing hard calculations by hand for the trip: 809 miles total burning 45.327 gallons for a total MPG of 17.85.
Likely this number could be higher, I kept up a pace of 80+ when not sitting in traffic. LA was the usual mess both going down and coming back, easily an hour and a half in traffic. This trip was with Myself and my wife, who are both large adults and our two 100+ pound kids. We had the trunk mostly full and a small trailer hitch cargo carrier with 2 suitcases on it.
Realistically, I think 280 miles would be doable on a tank of E85 and you could possibly eek out 300 miles if you drove sanely and had no traffic.
Car was flawless on the trip. Fan issues have gone away after replacing my thermostat and I don't believe they were tied to the 034 tune at all. Adaptive cruise control makes trips like this pretty painless, though lane assist still pretty much sucks. I continue to be impressed with the SQ5 and 034's abilities, such potential that they are tapping into, such an impressive vehicle.
