Question on NEUSPEED 6-Piston Big Brake Kit - 340mm

I know more than one member here are running NEUSPEED 6-Piston Big Brake Kit. So if anyone can share info I will appreciated.

I'm seconds away to place a order on NEUSPEED 6-Piston Big Brake Kit - (340mm) because I intend to keep OEM disc brake size. My question does this brakes will clear my OEM Wheels? Without spacers? I'm running the 19" Audi Sport 5V Spoke Design.

I'm really trying to stay away for now from Spacers till I lower the car.

I spoke with someone on their website they said I need 15mm spacers...but I doubt that...since I saw this thread
    https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=685435

This member install StopTech 6 piston/380mm big brake kit on OEM S3 wheels without spacers.

That leads me to believe that my kit 340mm should be fine.

Same rotors? Is the upgrade for cosmetic reasons? If not, why not just get proper pads and a set of track pads if you do that sort of thing? There's certainly no practical need for these on the street, or even the track if you have proper race pads especially if using the stock sized rotors.
2008 R8 V8 Manual: Uni 93 ECU tune * Avior Exhaust * Spacers * R8 Puddle lights * Custom mats. All 12 of my other VAG cars are gone :(

I was planning to change the rotors at a later time because money... but I was planning to keep using 340mm. I do plan to do track days and spirited driving on the countryside from time to time so is not a cosmetic upgrade.

Bit of a update Neuspeed has a waiting time from 4 to 6 weeks for this kit in red. Black is available in stock but I don't want black....so I cancel the order cause I don't have the patience...I ordered instead Racingline Big Brake Stage 2- 345mm for a bit less money. This should still fit my 19"

My stubbornness with the disc size is because I don't plan on changing my OEM wheels and I don't want to use spacers.

I had a S3 with the factory optional V 5 double spokes titanium flat 19". I had ST40 stoptechs I think they were 355mm. The link that you put of the black S3 with the ST60 6 piston brakes is from a different design wheel that perhaps has a more friendly offset.

My personal opinion on neuspeed 6 piston brakes is that they are excel, I personally got on the the phone with Jerry and Gary(own and manager) and these brakes are made as similar in design to the brembos. Jerry told me how they used the "banana" shape to maximize the most surface contact.

You are not the only "stubborn " on here, I also like to keep things simple, I don't like big rotors because of the added weight but there are some exceptions, foe me the stoptechs ST-40 were so good that I would do it all over again because the size was just right and the bite was incredible. The S3 has a strong factory initial bite but the ST-40 are incredible, so powerful. I hate overkilled brakes on cars, I think you are on the right direction with the Neuspeed(6 pistons) on 340mm. I must add that once a year they run a crazy 30% deal, they have like a VW/AUDI meet and they sell their stuff own the spot.

You should be able to consult with Jerry and go over some final details. I recently purchased 2 piece rotors from them for my RS3 and I love it(7lbs lighter each). Good luck with the Neuspeed but don't forget the ST-40s.
8V RS3 [email protected] mph (ran a few 11.7s stock and ran 118+mph several times)

Thanks a lot for your feedback mate. Unfortunately after I put the order there was a 4 to 6 weeks waiting time for a set in red color. I honestly didn't want to wait. So I cancel the order and make a new order for the Racingline Big Brake Stage 2 Kit 345mm Red. I reckon I shouldn't need spacers so will see how the Install goes.
