    Oil capacity of 2021 SQ5

I've had my SQ5 for a little over a month and have just ordered an oil change kit from ECS Tuning with the oem Audi/VW oil. I like to do an initial oil change around 1500 miles when my cars are new. Can someone tell me the oil capacity of the SQ5 including the filter. Thanks.

Thanks Barney. The kit comes with 8 quarts. I'll do the 7.5 fill and check the level.

ECS has a nice dip stick you can add to your SQ5, nice to be able to get a mechanical fill level to verify the electronic level sensor

Recently changed my oil for the first time. Put in 7.5 qts and the MMI showed it was still down 3/4 of a quart after running the engine and letting it sit for a while. Checked the dipstick and it showed full. Didn't add any more oil. The next day the MMI showed full. I will not trust the MMI level. Just me.

The site says this dip stick doesn't work with the B9 SQ5 but it does work perfectly.

I can also confirm that this dipstick works properly. I let them know it works about a year ago. You'd think they would change their compatibility chart - they'd sell more of them.

Mine behaved exactly the same upon refilling. MMI works fine, always says full other than that.
