    2020 A4 40 Premium (B9.5 new facelift)/ which honeycomb grille is compatible?

    hello,

I have been looking for days now on any sort of information concerning my 2020 A4 40 (new Facelift).

I found one vendor on ebay from china but he told me that it will require some modifications.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/38381720643...2Cchnl%3Dmkcid

I guess this will only fit the S4.

I am coming from a B8. For the B9s, Are front bumper grilles not interchangeable anymore? My car is non-Line as well, making things harder to find.

    Thank you for the help!

    I havent found any modified Base model 2020 A4 40 yet =(

When you look at the PR-GP1 (8W facelift) radiators, you have: (without front camera / with front camera)

    standard bumper (2K1) - 8W0 853 651 DB / 8W0 853 651 DD
    standard bumper black optic? (2K5) - 8W0 853 651 DF / 8W0 853 651 DH

    sport bumper A4 s-line (2K7) - 8W0 853 651 DT / 8W0 853 651 EB
    sport bumper S4 (2K3) - 8W0 853 651 DK / 8W0 853 651 DM

So the standard bumper gets the mundane grill and the sport bumper gets the honeycomb grill. While you'll never find Audi saying the grill is interchangeable, it may or may not be. Someone will have to actually try it first.
Something I notice is the closing element above and the secondary grill below are the same part number but different revisions between the two bumpers. But they sure do look similar regarding the outer perimeter:

I bit the bullet and ordered two grilles from two different places/vendors. One took as long as 2 months. The other was pretty quick. Cosmetically, one looks close to OEM, the other one adapts a different honeycomb style, smaller. I installed the OEM looking one.

Again this is for a standard non s-sport front bumper. Fitment needs some work at the bottom which i did not tackle.Maybe i Missed something, it was started to get late and needed to put the car back.

Both grilles that i received are a bit different. I might test the other grille to confirm this weekend, maybe the second has a better fit/mold.
It is a PITA to remove those clips from the grille off the front bumper. You need patience, and plastic trim removal tools in order to make it easy for you without ripping the clips off.

With the new grille on, you will end up with extra bolts because of the slight differences between the bumpers (sport , non-sport)and the grilles.
The top non-sport sport grille has screw holes that bolt on the car for support whereas on the sport A4/S4 bumper it does not and probably has an extra piece to compensate and secure the top of the grille to the car.(i am referring to the plastic piece sitting in between top the grille and the hood).

Where did you get the OEM looking grille? I have a 2021 A4 and I ordered one that looks similar to the top grille and the fit was quite a bit off so I need to return
