    Hey whats up members.

I wanted to know if there a better product out there than the Meguiar's HOTSHINE. I'm due for a new bottle of shine soon.

A few pics of the Champ shoes after using this product.

    Thanks.

I've been using Turtle Wax Wet'n Black Tire Shine. I apply it to a rag and wipe on which tends to give a more muted shine which is what I prefer. From what I can tell it doesn't sling off which is important IMHO.

I use Torque Detail's High Gloss tire shine. Last weeks if the weather's dry, seems to do ok after a rain storm as well. I apply it to one of those shaped tire applicators rather than to the tire directly, which avoids sling which is very important IMHO.

I heard good things about Torque Detail . I went with these 3 products.
I havent had a chance to use Chemical Guys yet.

I prefer the glove method also.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those; I've found that gel-based products work better and last longer and are less likely to leave the dreaded slings on a car's finish (which I cannot stand). I stopped using foams and water-like sprays a long time ago for that reason.

Was reading about the duracoat tire shine then ventured to some of the detailing forums for reviews. That then led me to this product. Ultra long lasting, doesn't wash away, doesn't sling. Just make you clean wheels well, with brush, and then clean them 1 more time just to be sure before applying.

36:27 is the dura-coating that the zep is comparable to. Same blue tint to it.

Not a fan of glossy tires, so I use Carpro Perl. This product provides a satin finish.

Street Legal Tire shine is the only way to go. Spray on and no splatter.
