The time has come where I have decided to reluctantly part ways with my pride and joy of past 4 years. It was always intended to be my forever car and therefore, absolutely no expense was spared in keeping up with preventative and routine maintenance.
My 2007 Audi RS4 finished in rare Imola Yellow was first registered in British Columbia, Canada and later resided in Ontario, Canada for the rest of its life. The design language of RS4 has aged gracefully and this one doesn’t show signs of age as the whole car has been professionally paint corrected by Ceramic Pro and the entire front end is protected with Xpel Paint Protection Film (Bumper, headlights, Fenders, hood, Mirrors). Windows are tinted with a high-grade Ceramic film with maximum heat rejection properties to protect the interior from UV rays and to keep the interior cool in hot summer days. Additional features include highly sought after MCarbon carbon fiber Rear Diffuser and Trunk trim.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather with white piping on the seats and carbon fiber trim accents: the dash, center console, and door panels. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable Recaro front seats with embossed RS4 logos in the backrests, heated rear seating, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear sunshades. Tasteful updates have been added with carbon fiber door sills and a sports shifter kit. In efforts to modernize the tech, stereo was upgraded with Kenwood DNX693s that allows for Apple Carplay, Bluetooth streaming and Front/Rear Cameras.
Factory 19″ wheels were recently refinished and are wrapped in brand new 255/35/19 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 summer tires at all four corners that were mounted in Mar 2021. Factory DRC was replaced with Top of the line KW v3 Coilovers with height and dampening adjustability in May 2020 to allow for improved ride and performance. The eight-piston front calipers were serviced recently and paired with brand new brake pads and 2-piece Brake rotors front and back in Mar 2021.
The heart of the beast 4.2-liter V8 (420 horsepower) was pampered with preventative and routine maintenance. Carbon Cleaning was performed twice in the last 40,000km and last one included additional preventative maintenance such as, Injectors, Spark Plugs, PCV, JHM intake spacers and most importantly Intake flap delete. Engine Covers were refinished this year to bring them back their peak glory. Most recently, serpentine belt tensioner and idler pulley was replaced in Feb 2021. Some of the other items replaced in the last few years include High Pressure Fuel Pumps, Aux Rad, Coolant Expansion Tank, Oil Cooler and Lines. As such, Car pulls strong throughout the RPM range and makes all the right sounds. Maintenance history is well documented and organized with binder full of records.
