Fuel pump control module location on Quattro cars

Background information: I'm doing a quattro swap on my 2007 Cabriolet. The control module in my car is mounted to the underside of the low pressure fuel pump access panel in the trunk. As part of the swap I will need to relocate or extend the pump connector at the least. I am aware that on the quattro equipped sedans it is mounted elsewhere.

    Questions for the hive:

    A) Where is the control module mounted on quattro cabriolets?

    b) For sedans, where besides bolted between the tank and rear seat pan near the low pressure pump could the fuel pump control module located.

Whilst pondering what I need to do with mine I was looking at the various A4 sedans in the bone yard to see if I could harvest the wiring. I didn't find a single one with the tell-tale torx screws near the pump access plate under the rear seat. Instead when I removed the plate I find the wire branching off and heading towards the passenger side under the seat pan but no indication where it is actuall mounted.

On quattro sedans, it's next to the pump access panel, on pass side. Not sure what your asking though.
