2007 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro S-Line “BSR Tuned” Package ????

I bought this last year at Herzog Meier VW Dealer in Portland/Beaverton Oregon. It’s a 2007 Audi A4 S-Line Quattro. It had these “BSR” badges on it and all other factory badging removed basically off the trunk lid.

I’ve done my research on what the “BSR” options are, and after going thru the car, the best I can guess is that a previous owner bought the tuning package for it.

I’m trying to see if anyone knows the previous owner so I can ask that person a few simple questions.

I’m hoping someone in the PNW might know this previous owner and would be able help me connect. This is one of those “please help an orphan find his parent(s)” deal

“BSR” is a Swedish tuner. Most likely somebody just got a set of badges.

I reached out to BSR, and they include the badges with their tune.

For someone in the USA to go to them for just the badges is seriously unlikely. Unless they were just morons, and bought from Europe to put badges only ???

Based on the way it runs, revs in sport mode - I’m confident this has the 242hp tune.

Would like to find previous owner - orphan still searching for parents. They should have like a 23 n me site for old cars to find old owners

Million $$ idea - you heard it here first !! I claim all patents, trademark and rights to that concept

Don’t get too excited.

BSR lists high hp with hw that can’t support it.
Hard to get a stage 1 tune wrong of course but if you look at their stage 2 up it doesn’t make any kind of sense. I wouldn’t touch it.

Trying to get detail on what tune the previous owner actually got on the car from BSR

and I’d like to get it back to stock if possible so I have a clean slate, but they issued a PCR (what they call it I guess) code for you to be able to do so for the original purchaser

Those are just to the start, I talked with the original buyer from 2007 who had the car from 0miles to 60k, looking for the next owner who did this add on .......

legally speaking, Dealership shouldnt disclose the old owner information. They might get sued for invasion of confidentiality. Legal way is to go to DMV, they will give you a form to fill out(its a form to request previous owner information). Once its filled, they will mail that form to that old owner on their record and if he/she agrees to disclose information, DMV will provide the info. This is about a month long process.

there is a way around it though!

Download this app, Car care from apple store. Give your Vin number or liscense plate number to it. It will show all the service records for that car(its free so dont worry about cost. It an app from carfax). Once you see service records, mileage, location they were performed and date, Call that dealer and tell them that you need timing belts service done(just so that you would get their attention and they would be interested in helping you. tell them that before scheduling the appointment, you need to see all the receipts of services performed on the car as you dont have track of it) and ask them to email all the receipts(Flirt with the service advisor if possible).

Also, while calling the dealer, give them car vin number not the liscense plate number lol or else they will erase old owner information and save yours.

Like someone else said, BSR is a pretty big renowed and quality tuner. I bought a BSR stage 1 tune for my '07 A4 2.0T last year and its been good. Really woke up the car comapred to stock while keeping similar power delivery. I also recieved all those same badges but prefered not to use them.

I'm not sure why you'd want to go back to stock?

Yeah honestly because I’d like to start fresh and try APR or 032 Motorsports for the support and Stage 2/3 options.

I do like it a lot but I’m cornered, which for now is okay but I don’t have any support to any way to update either.

How is the support for you at BSR ? What do you need, a PCR code or something Like that right ?
