Car seat seat belt buckle extenders

    hi there parents

Im having a problem now with my A6 wagon, with fitting three boosters across in the back. They physically fit, but the problem is to access seat belt buckle, as kids use cars seat belt, and not carseat herneses.

everywhere I read about seat belt extenders, and that they are unsafe. I had an idea of finding if anybody knows, of other Audis, that have longer buckles, that are not flush with the seat, or a way to make them higher.
It is so frustrating, Im at the point having to sell my avant because of this. SInce this school year I have three munchkins in school and its a HUGE problem, having to constantly switch cars with wife to drop them off at school and then taking my avant to work.

any ideas??? come on dads, help out here!

So this an expensive option but you can get three of these across and use the car seat belts on 2 and the harness on the middle one , might be an option.

I have done that with 3 kids taht were 6,7 and 8. Not sure how old your kids are.

mine are 4, 6 and 7, 4 I would like to keep in harnesses, I tried putting Clek Fllo and two hign back boosters, and thats a no go, the middle seat simply covers seat buckles... plus rear bench has more side supports then front seats, so seats "fall" towards the middle...
I was thinking about those dionos, now its a problem in canada all car seats are final sale and you cant return them once bought...
Ideally the seat that would go in middle should be super narrow base so there some kind of acces to buckles... who ever in audi designed these so low is a moron, even with two boosters they have big time reaching and clicking in themselves, which they can no problem in oor VW atlas in third row (which is another topic on WHYYY they didnt put ISOFIX latch connectors in third row)

Man that stinks. Can you get a roof box for the 7 year old?

its frustrating. By next fall, I will have to sell the car. This school year well manage like this, but for next, forget it.
Q7 coming in. Hopefully with captain chairs.

I would reconsider captains chairs or at least test em out first. Hated having them in my R class.

I have 4 kids, and getting into third row is a pain in the ass, this seems like a much more convenient, plus, each car seat has its own seat to secure on.

Does the Q7 have 2 rows of captains chairs? My GL 450 has power folding seats so getting in the 3rd row is a breeze but only 2 seats back there.

    Stop having kids bro

    Kids are the future.
Captain chairs are great because kids can wiggle to third row without the hassle of lifting up heavy seat with car seat on it, and risking crunching a someone's hand, toes, etc everytime, this way they just run in alone.

I made such a mistake grabbing an Avant....
