There’s a CAI from Integrated Engineering. Also K&N offers an intake for the 2.0 engine. There’s not much performance options for the 2.0 engine. Injen is a decent brand too

The SP3086P looks like a really good design. The filter sits way low in the bay, and I think if you are looking for a less restricted CAI that’s the way to go. K&N makes one that will work with a little improvisation. Probably hotter air but way louder. Right now there is a lack of aftermarket parts for our platform. I would imagine as the car ages more companies will develop them properly. Snag the Injen if you can find one, I have been waiting months.

With a little modification, you can get the b9 ECS LT to work. Armaspeed (https://www.armaspeed.com/product-ca...ake/audi/a/a6/) also makes one for our vehicles.

Follow this thread for us 2.0 folks. A lot of good info within regarding mods and such.

Are you running any kind of tune? If overheating is your concern, the stock air box would probably be the best option for you. The main reason for springing for an aftermarket CAI is to get rid the restrictions the stock box has to increase air flow. Otherwise you are paying for extra noise, which is fine but I doubt you’ll get much of a benefit from a CAI.
