Tire/Wheel & Extended Warranty Pricing

Hello Everyone


I took delivery of my car today and was curious what others have paid on :

- Wheel/Tire Protection
- Extended Warranty 84months or 100K miles.

Would love any insight.

In NY getting quoted for rs7 $3000 for 5-year wheel/tire.

Was curious if this is a new trend that is just starting?

*** Was unable to purchase Wheel / Tire protection on my new car from my Audi Dealership! Was told the car is over the MSRP allowed by the 3rd party insurer, apparently does not offer coverage for MSRP over $120K ***

I literally fell out of the chair when I heard this. Has anyone else come across this recently? I know many of you earlier owners seem to have been able to purchase this coverage.

Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah 10/100k was 5495 for me as well in MA.

I was able to get wheel/tire back in Dec for about 2750 I believe. With 22” and potholes seemed worth it. Don’t know why your dealer won’t do it, doesn’t make sense if others of us have.

Audi F&I Manager here; happy to sell either wheel/tire or a service contract to anyone on here for a super good price. Pre-existing issues/damage excluded obviously. Options for the service contracts are Fidelity or Audi Pure, wheel and tire is Fidelity's bundle which does cosmetics as well.

I'd stick with the Audi Pure/Fidelity from the an Audi dealer. you can have you car serviced at an Audi dealership without issue. The 3rd party to extended vehicle service contracts usually are not approved at Audi dealerships and you'll have to look for an independent service shop.

No. But for steels with rotors, $2,100 is less than one brake job all around. Plus you get some other things like wipers , battery, and an alignment.

I got Wheel/Tire for $2055 for 60 months.

Interestingly, it seems like many of these are nearly the same price range for any Audi model...so for an RS I decided they are "worth it."

Being quoted $1649 for audi care and $2750 for 60 month $0 deductible road hazard and platinum care with rotors.

I don’t believe Audi care is negotiable but I think i can do better on the Hazard/rotor number.

Didnt haggle at all on them - they gave me a 'dealer coupon' for the extended warranty - think it knocked $250 off the price. Seems as if these are pretty good comparatively...but I do live in the South, so we have a lot less road hazards versus some of the other climates on this thread.

$1199 and now the dealer is calling saying that price is wrong and that I still owe like $500 and change. Idk what to do in this situation honestly.

Thanks for the input. That’s what the total would be. I just wanted to make sure nothing crazy was happening. I thought that Audi care was a set price then I saw the $999.

Really didnt negotiate at all on any of it...my dealer was solid throughout. I financed the car and got a smoking rate through Bank of America (via Merrill Lynch wealth management relationship), told them what it was and were able to beat it by almost half a basis point. Audi South Atlanta. Would 100% buy my next Audi there even though it's not local.
