I believe they are mostly easy to install. From what ive found if you get a complete kit they either come with a decoder which prevents errors/fast blinking or a decoder dongle where you have to download a software and upload it to you car like a tune. Only problem is price. The complete kits are quite expensive.
    Complete kit- https://www.kufatec.com/en/audi/a4/a...number=38908-2
Ebay non complete smoked kit- https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-09-12-A...8AAOSwGIlgFLyA

There is an installation manual on the complete kit.

I think the Europrice kits are dynamic also.

These kits are not dynamic as Audi never had a dynamic sweeping turn signal for these models.

For Rest of World owners or North American B8.5 sedan owners that have fitted European (RoW) taillights the semi-dynamic two step modules are available:

    Turn Signal Modules | A4, S4, RS4, Allroad Post-Facelift Semi-Dynamic <-Click for More Information

Only the B8.5 taillights can use those semi-dynamic modules, sedans must have European taillights and the avant models need the post-facelift lights.

I posted to ensure no one is confused by the thread thinking the Europrice kits are dynamic, they are not.

Audi doesn't make dynamic taillights for any B8 or B8.5 model. You'll have to dig around for something aftermarket or custom.

    Cheers,
I know there is no OEM solution for this
    Thanks for the reply anyway.

    I've been after this myself.

The only place I've found that sell anything like that (at least in the UK) is here: https://p-d-r.store/collections/audi...-indicator-pcb

It has Audi A4 in the model list.

As I understand it you have to fit them yourself using their "kit". I've not fitted them myself since I don't have the spare cash right now.

    Hi Everybody,

Maybe this thread is dead, but I had FULLY dynamic tail lights on my B8.5.
I did them by myself for myself without any intention to sell.
I bought a full set, opened them, “cancelled” turn signal board and printed (machined in my case) new board connected to sequential module. The project was expensive and a huge amount of work at the time.
Unfortunately, totaled my car more than a year ago (front end), but was able to exchange to original set before insurance took my car, had somebody interested to purchase those, but he sold his car.
Here’s some videos of the result.

    Is somebody interested?

I just want to give you your crown! 👑 you did an amazing job on these. What did you end up asking for a price on these? Also any interest on doing some kind of a walk thru for someone else to do this?
