Will 22" Wheel from Q8 fit my 2019 Q7?

I am buying a set of used wheels for my 2019 Q7. The wheels are coming off a 2021 Q8.

I see that the correct wheel and tire specs are:
- Q7 = 285/35ZR22 10j x 22 ET26
- Q8 = 285/40ZR22 10j x 22 ET21

I read this as the Q8 wheel has 5 mm less offset, meaning the sidewall will sit inside my wheel well a little farther than the correct Q7 wheel. Is that correct?

Will the Q8 wheels and tires be ok on my Q7???

The Q8 wheel will sit 5mm further out (not in) than the Q7 wheel, but it should fit no problem.

I’d stick with the 285/35 tire size for the Q7, though.

Agreed.

The 40 profile tire will be almost 30mm taller...translating to ~3.6% speedo error.
