Is there a way to replace the front side grilles without removing the bumper? All I can find in my search is info on the main front grille.

No, I just did this and you have to remove the bumper to access the release points of the side grilles / fog covers

It's not too hard to take off and on the front clip. You can throw on an RS or black line grill while you're at it. I was surprised how easy it was. There are tutorials in these forums if you search.

Is there any way you can remove the chrome trim from the side grills? I would rather do that than paint them

Instead of wrapping or painting the chrome on the grilles— you could always go with genuine black optic side grilles.

The finish and longevity would be superior to that of any wrap/plasti dip you may do. Happy to help source and go over options with anyone interested :)

Anyone knows if they have a honeycomb version for a standard b9.5 A4 40? Does the shape vary between S-Line, Non-Sline? so little information about the new facelift =(

I don’t believe they can be removed without damaging the trim.

    I was responding to OP.

As far as the chrome trim, it depends on if its glued on or plastic welded/ riveted on. Hard to say without looking at it. If its just glued on, you can probably remove it with a heatgun, but if its plastic welded/ riveted on then there will be holes behind it.
