So this about links, I installed them on my new 2021 sq5 and have them adjusted for the look I was looking for, much like the OP in this thread, been on for about 2 weeks sits awesume in Dynamaic, rides really mice in comfort still with a nice lower than stock look. Fast forward to today, I just got my new wheels in, went down to my local tire changer, after they brought the car around on the lift area I went to the open garage door to veiw the car up on the lift, so I saw the person taking off the stock tires and just happened to mention that he had put the car in CHANGE TIRE MODE, he said what is that!!!! I was like OH BOY, I explained to him but at this point it was up on the lift with two wheels off. So long story shorter, he finishes the wheel chage over to my tires begins to lower the lift and the suspension is not settleing down it is EXTREME 4x4 mode. after a couple of minutes the front settled down to where it was when I drove it there in comfort mode, but the back would not, installer is dumb found not knowing what to do, I am like WTF, so likely the Audi dealer I bought the car at was only up the road, I took it there they looked at it, I explained what the tire changer did not do by putting it in tire change mode. So now the rear control moduels are not workling and the rear is all Jacked up, I am so P.OD. and now the dealer has to order new mods. and it will be 4-5 days, The tire change company is paying for all the repair which I belive is over a thousand plus to fix, So just beware with lowering links and putting up on a 4 post lift that the rear lowering links will over center and not function again leaving the vehicle all jack up in the rear. What a bad day......
I don't know if others have had this happen with links installed so I thought I would put this out.
