Oil dipstick?

Has anyone found a dip stick that will accurately read the oil level on a 2020 A4 Allroad with a 2.0 TFSI engine. Tried 1 or 2 from amazon or ebay and they were not correct. Thanks.

Why can't you just tell me the part #? Its not that big of deal. I actually have an incorrect one that I put a line on where "full" should be. Will only use when I do oil change.

I transferred my dipstick from my B8 to my B9. Fit perfect and has accurate readings as well. Here is the part number I used in my B8 and now my B9:

06J-115-611-L

the b8 oil dipstick fits but it doesnt give an accurate reading. i transferred my b8 dipstick to the b9 and when i did an oil change the oil goes above the max line on the b8 dipstick. i could easily modify the dipstick though to create my own max line for the b9

That's weird, because when I transferred my dipstick from my B8 to my B9, the reading showed right at max, not above and not below. Matched the MMI reading. Did you use the part number I provided above? I know there was a couple revisions before that VW Part number.

the one i used in my B8 was 06J-115-611E

Ahh ok, try the latest revision. The good news is they're readily available at VW dealers and FCP Euro. If you get it from a VW dealer, you can try it and return it right there. Try out the L revision, as I am using it on my B9 and it is accurate. I'll provide a picture when I get home and show you that it's accurate, if you want.

Just to get a positive. Did the oil dipstick (06J-115-611-L) work on the B9? I would like to use one on a 2018 A4 Allroad.

That's what I am using in my B9. I transferred it over from my B8. But again, it was the L revision, not the E. Manny says the one he had, the E version, was not accurate. I'd suggest you go to a local VW dealer and try it. For me it is working fine and accurate.

Full time. That's the point of it. When I go fill up some petrol, I check my oil at the same time for piece of mind.

Yeah, was going to say that it rubs ever so slightly. The hood padding will eventually conform around the dipstick. You'll be fine. Did the same on my B8 as well.

No need. seriously. You could just press it in if you must. Once the padding conforms, it stays that way.
