    Gold/Bronze wheels on Daytona Grey

    Hi guys,

I am considering painting my B8.5 S4 “flower” wheels in satin gold or bronze. However, I am having a hard time finding any images of these wheels painted in this color. Would love any advice on this. Thank you.

I love gold and bronze wheels, those pics looks great! I'm going bronze on my Sepang in the spring.

I’ve been wanting to paint my wheels bronze as well I first wanted to do plastidip but found diplicolor has a bronze spray can.
What where you going to use to paint?

Google (images) "satin poly gold wheels" for a good example of a color that is more of a gold with a bronze flake. If you are looking more for bronze with with gold flake, then search for "bronze chrome wheels". These are both prismatic powder colors I've been researching. I will say that the bronze chrome is very dark unless in sunlight. At night they almost look black.
There are a lot of other shades as well if you visit prismaticpowders.com, most have pictures of the color on wheels.

I was going to give it to the wheel guy here to get it professionally powder coated. The color I was thinking about is Satin Aurum. It’s a Porsche color used on the GT2RS, GT3 etc.

That’s going to be awesome! Sepang is the only one that can pull off silver, black, gold and bronze. Would’ve loved to get mine in that color too :/

Thank you so much for this info! These are definitely the two colors I am looking at. Do you have a color that is similar to a faded “satin poly gold” color? I highly recommend you also look into Porsche factory wheel color “Satin Aurum”

Thanks, yeah I'm pretty pumped. I was lucky to find it last summer, it's the exact spec I wanted, loaded Technik Sepang 6MT sport diff. Only thing I wished it had was magma interior, but I'm not sure if they even came that way without special order. Think I'm going with mattebronze Fast FC04, lightweight flow formed.
